The weather has been icy cold lately. My skin definitely needed some TLC! Before I ramble on with my top favourite masks, I should probably start off by saying that my skin is dry to very dry and is extremely sensitive. So for all my sensitive ladies out there don’t you worry, I’ll be your guinea pig!

Fresh’s Rose Face Mask

I love this mask because it instantly gives me softer and hydrated skin. Not to mention it is very gentle and it smells like roses! I normally purchase this when they have the travel sizes and I’ll just take it on vacation with me (no worries, I’m not going anywhere anytime soon). This mask for me is just one of those must have basic hydration masks.

How to use:

It goes on like a gel consistency, with a little bit of grainy texture. I TRY to use this mask every other night. I leave it on for 5-8 minutes and just wipe off with a damp cloth. Its so fast and easy, and results are immediate. I feel that it acts more of a toner than brightener.

Lierac Premium Supreme Absolute

lierac premium face mask

Lierac Premium Absolu mask is perfect for someone with very dry skin (like myself). This mask targets those who seek an effective anti-aging treatment. There is 10% of hyaluronic acid for an immediate of plumping effect. I use this mask mostly for the clear glass look on my skin, more radiant complexion, and to minimize/tighten my pores. I find that it helps with my smile lines and expression marks on my forehead. It’s never too early for anti-aging! It feels very luxurious and creamy.

How to use:
I use this mask once or two times a week, applying a thick layer on clean and dry skin. Make sure you avoid the eye contour, I accidentally got this mask in my eye and it really burned! Leave on for 5-10 minutes and remove the excess with a cotton pad.

GLAMGLOW
Thirsty Mud // Youth Mud // Super Mud

Thirsty Mud
This has to be included in my favourites. It is also a hydrating mask that goes on like a gel consistency. It does give a little bit of a tingle when applied. I find it helps with dullness in the skin and dryness.

How to use:
I only apply Thirsty Mud when my skin feels dull which mostly is during the morning time or whenever I travel during the flight. I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes so that it can absorb into the skin and I will wipe off and excess then pat the remaining into my skin.

Youth Mud
This one is one of my hubby’s favourite. He loves anything that allows him to feel that something is actually happening. This masks tingles and helps exfoliates impurities in the skin, leaving the skin feeling tighter and minimized pores.

How to use:
Use once a week or however much as you please. Normally we use it only when we see our pores and we run for Youth Mud. Apply a thin layer and allow it to dry. Once it is dry, use warm water and massage your face in circular motions to gently exfoliate the skin.

Super Mud
This one is a bye-bye blemish treatment for me. Whenever I feel a pimple coming up, I’ll place a dot on it, allow it to dry and it will take away the redness or any scarring away. You can also apply this everywhere and as it dries, it will reveal dots which are the extractions.

How to use:
A thin layer should be applied to clean skin. Use either as a spot treatment or all over the face to help extract impurities in the face. Remove with water and can be used as often as needed.

Filorga Meso-Mask

I think by now, we have all noticed a pattern with what I really look for in masks. I love anything that will help brighten my complexion and make my skin soft and radiant. Meso-Mask mask does just that. I immediately feel that my face is quenched afterwards and my skin is softer. It is almost like a skincare that acts as a highlighter for you!

How to use:
Apply a generous amount to the face, neck, eye contour, and décolleté. I generally leave it on for 30 minutes and just relax then wipe it off with a warm damp cloth.

Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24

shiseido eye mask wrinkleresist 24 benefiance

I love these. Whenever my eyes are swollen and tired from crying over a k-drama, I just throw these bad boys on and they immediately make me look like I’ve slept a full 8 hours. I wanna say these are perfect for late night partiers-or-studiers.. !

How to use:
Can be thrown in the fridge to give it a cooling cucumber effect or just remove the eye masks from the package and stick them under your eyes for 25-30 minutes (or just before it is about to dry out).
*tip:
I don’t like to waste and of the product, so I always take the extra mask juice and apply it all over my face, neck, décolleté and just pat it in.

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Lip Mask

rodial lip mask

Living in Canada, we are under crazy weather changes. One day can be humid as hell and 10 minutes later would be cold as ice. This causes the skin and my lips to peel sometimes. We should never neglect our lips. Dragon’s Blood Lip Mask help retain moisture with hyaluronic acid. This helps our lips feel plump and hydrated by adding instant moisture.

How to use:
Peel off the packaging and place the mask onto lips. Mask can be left on for 15 minutes (or until dry). Massage the remaining into the lips.
