Welcome to VLOGMAS Day 6. Which was an originally Dec 3 video, is now 3 days late. For some reason, while I was trying to export this video from Final Cut Pro, the whole system crash… I was so devastated. It would have been up in time, instead now it’s delayed.
The silver lining if this story is that I didn’t let that stop me from posting this video. I tried multiple ways to fix the audio and to recover my clips but none of it worked.
It was now 2AM (Dec 4) and I’m debating whether or not to edit the entire thing again or continue to troubleshoot. I decided on the latter. 4AM quickly approached. I was still back from where I started — a distorted video with missing clips and audio. I went to bed – tossed and turned trying to figure out a plan for the morning after. At 8AM I tried a final attempt to fix the original clips with no success.
I decided to start fresh.
That brings you all to this video shared below. I ended up trimming more clips and trying to add more quality edits to make it more enjoyable and entertaining. I also wanted to make sure to showcase my personality more. I can truly say that I am proud of this video. With the extra time given, it allowed a more accurate representation of my work. This one took a long time but being able to publish it finally today shows anyone that you shouldn’t just give up on what you want to do.
